Make 3D - Online 2D images to 3D converter

Make 3D is a very good attempt to model a Dream Project where you can convert your 2d photographs to 3D. You need to sign up to upload and store your photos and their corresponding 3d models.You can still view all their samples in the public gallery. You need to use the keyboard keys, shift, pg up, pg down to realize its been converted to 3D. Providing the ability to rotate using the mouse would have been better. Results are not as good as you may think, but still makes you wonder how they managed to make the current system.
Nevertheless, It is a really great innovation for an online tool. I guess it is an research by people at Stanford university, because it has been hosted as a sub domain on their server.
