Vehicle tracking system by Vodafone India

Vodafone India have launched a new business service by which you can do tracking of any number of vehicles in a web based interface.

It seems like each vehicle will be fitted with a black box, SIM Card and a GPS Receiver.

The fact which amazes me is that you can get SMS alerts on not only latitudinal and longitudinal position of your vehicle, but also the speed of the vehicle and rash driving alerts.

    Hmm... Sounds good. But who wants to get in trouble from rash driving alerts.

    Well its mainly for corporate usage where they can keep track of the driver's speed.

    Its just a trigger when you cross a certain speed.
